Cookie Policy

Last updated October 26, 2026. This page explains which cookies and similar tools we use and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a site saves on your device. They help a site remember your visit and measure how it is used. Similar tools, such as local storage, work in a like way.

What we use

NameProviderPurposeLifetime
_gaGoogle AnalyticsTells visitors apart to measure site useUp to 2 years
_ga_*Google AnalyticsKeeps session state for analyticsUp to 2 years
fcc (local storage)This siteSaves your last calculator inputs on your deviceUntil you clear it

The fcc item is local storage, not a cookie. It never leaves your device.

What we do not use

We do not use cookies to sell your data. We do not show ads today, so we set no advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Fonts

The site font loads from Google Fonts. This request may share your IP address with Google, but it does not set a cookie on this site.

How to control cookies

  • Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Each browser has a cookie menu in its settings.
  • Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
  • Clear your site data to remove the saved calculator inputs. The Reset button also resets the form.

Blocking cookies will not stop the calculator from working.

Changes to this policy

We post any update here and change the date at the top.
